Cabbage Carrot Slaw with Sweet & Sour Dressing & Green Juice 

I have two recipes for you today!

This first one is a delicious, light, crisp salad that is super easy to make and makes a fantastic side to a meal, a main salad or a great stuffing for wraps or tortillas.

The 2nd is a video recipe on how to make a fresh, light, energy-boosting green juice! You do not need a fancy juicer to make juice. I show you how you can make a delicious juice using your blender and a fine mesh strainer. 


Cabbage Carrot Slaw with Sweet & Sour Sesame Dressing

  • 1 C chopped purple cabbage
  • 1 C shredded carrots
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 1 Tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 1 Tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

Add ingredients to a bowl and toss to mix.

Sweet & Sour Sesame Dressing

  • 3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar (or a bit more)
  • 1/4 + 1/8 tsp sesame oil
  • 3/4 tsp honey (or another sweetener)

Add dressing ingredients to a small jar. Shake well.

Add some of the salad dressing to the salad and stir. Taste and add more dressing if needed.

GREEN JUICE with a blender

Green Juice

  • 2 C water
  • 1/4 – 1/2 banana
  • 1 C frozen pineapple
  • 1/2-1  Asian pear or apple
  • 3 stalks celery chopped
  • 1/2 cucumber chopped
  • Large handful of greens ripped
  • 1/2 – 1 tsp wheatgrass powder (optional. or another green powder)

Add the water, veggies (without greens), wheatgrass powder and fruit to your blender and blend.

Add the greens and blend until all broken down.

Place metal strainer into a bowl or large measuring cup.

Pour some of the juice from blender into the strainer and with a spoon stir until all liquid is out of strainer

Pressing spoon on the pulp left in strainer until all liquid strained out. Rinse strainer and do the same with remainder of the juice in blender.

Store in mason jars in fridge if not consuming right away.


The easiest and fastest way to boost your energy, decrease inflammation, have youthful, clear skin and decrease cravings
