Flip Your Attitude & Superb Salad Dressing with Wrap

So what is it that sabotages you? What makes you quit? What makes you give up? What makes you procrastinate?

We all have something in our life that we could use a flip in our attitude about so that we can actually move forward and not give up – finally!

One simple thing you can do to get rid of the “junk” and packaged foods is to make your own salad dressings. But just oil and vinegar (or lemon juice) can get….well…..kind of boring. 

Salad dressings are so easy to make and make a HUGE difference with a salad so here is one of my favourites and it has a ton of flavour!

Creamy Italian Bell Pepper Dressing

  • 1/4 C oil
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 Tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1/4 C chopped bell pepper (red or yellow)
  • 1/4 clove of garlic (start with small amount)
  • 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning (or use fresh herbs)
  • 1/8 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp pepper (or to taste)
  • 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast

Blend the above ingredients in a small blender like a Magic Bullet or Nutri-Bullet or a blender. 

Blend until creamy. Store in a jar in fridge – for about 4 days.

Below is a picture of my Buckwheat Wrap (crepe) I made (showed you in video). 
In this one I put red cabbage, tomatoes, the salad dressing and I sauteed some mix greens and added those – messy but so good!

NOTE: When making this you do not need to sprout the buckwheat – just use it dry (like you buy it).

Remember – it is not about being PERFECT or having the “All or Nothing” attitude. It is about being consistent, having the food you love (not so healthy stuff) in moderation and eating a whole lot of healthy, nutritious foods that fuel and feed your body.
