When exercise backfires and causes weight gain!

Can exercising actually cause you to gain weight in midlife? What is up?

This kind of sounds crazy but it is really true!

Again – what used to work, doesn’t work anymore.

Often that is exercise too, not just the food.

Because your body is going through all these hormonal changes, it is under a lot more stress.

During this phase of life your body cannot handle stress like it used to.

Exercise is a form of stress. Even when you are used to thinking of exercise as really “good” for you it can be “too much” stress to an already stressed out body.
