If you do NOT like to work out (strength train) and so have avoided it….
if you used to work out but can't or don't now for some reason…

What supports your skeletal system?
What helps you stand up tall?
What helps you walk and do things?

Women start to lose 1/2 lb of muscle a YEAR
after the age of only 35!
They then GAIN 1.5 lbs of FAT each year at least!
(if they are not strength training)
By the time you are 50 and over you are losing muscle tone very, very fast.
This can lead to…
Knee problems, shoulder problems, hip problems, feet problems, aches and pains, etc
You can ignore this but there will be bad consequences if you do.
Muscles SHAPE your body and you cannot get that “toned” look if you do not strength train!
You do not have to spend hours in the gym or use heavy weights.
You do not even have to go to the gym.
You do have to know what to do
Even just some body-weight exercises for 10-15 minutes each day can make a HUGE difference.
You can start to “build” back up muscle and “tone” no matter what age you are.
Do you want to look really old before you are?
Hunched over, using a walker (because your muscles are so weak they cannot support your body weight or hold you up anymore)
That can be the reality!
This is SO much more than exercising for weight loss.
BUT – if you are exercising because YES you also have weight to lose – then are you exercising right for this phase of life?
IF you are not – it is not going to lead to weight loss.
Walking is great for your mood and for stress release and to be outside in the fresh air, etc but it is not really “exercise” in the way that is needed to keep your body strong.
Are you feeling sore and achy?
That can be because of:
    • Muscle imbalances
    • Some tight muscles and then some really weak muscles
    • Tight muscles pull on your joints.
    • Weak muscles ligaments and tendons cause your joints to be unstable!
    • Then if you have bad balance – that is when you fall, etc.
How do you want to look?
What do you want to be able to do?
How do you want to physically feel?
Do you want to stay mobile and independent?
It is time to DO SOMETHING…

The time is NOW!

YES you can put this off, but why?

Life is always happening. There are always things going on. You can continue to say you will do it later or “the next time” or whatever other excuses you can come up with.

But how long are you going to continue doing that?

Stop waiting. Stop procrastinating. Stop putting yourself last.

START doing what you can to get the results you want!

And if you are saying to yourself “well, what if I don't get results?”….

I will tell you right now – you WILL NOT get results if you don't do anything.
