How to make baked tofu (or tempeh)
I have a super easy recipe for you today – Baked Tofu! (Recipe written out below)
I LOVE tofu and I really like tempeh also and if do too you can use this recipe for tempeh also.
Women are confused about whether or not they should eat tofu or not.
NOTE: ALWAYS buy organic and Non-GMO. Soybeans are one of the most genetically modified foods on the planet.
IF you have symptoms of “estrogen dominance” (google that) and are in perimenopause (the phase of the greatest hormone fluctuation and you still have your period) then I would not recommend having tofu that often.
BUT…. for someone who has finished with their period (if you haven't had it for 1 year you are in menopause) and anyone post menopause it is fine to have it sometimes.
I may have tofu or tempeh 1-2 times a month.
I love baked tofu in salads or in a stir-fry. I cook it separately and have it in the fridge so it is fast and easy to grab and make a meal.

- 1 block of extra firm organic non-gmo tofu
- 3 Tbsp oil
- 3 Tbsp Braggs aminos (or tamari, soy sauce or coconut aminos)
- 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (you can use 1-2 cloves chopped fresh garlic )
- 1 tsp ginger powder (you can use some chopped ginger root)
- Squeeze of hot sauce (optional, I used Sriracha)
Oven at 350 degrees F
Rinse the tofu and dry with paper towel or a towel.
Cut into cubes
In a bowl combine the other ingredients and stir to mix well.
Add the cubed tofu
Stir to mix.
Let marinate (however long you desire)
Put parchment paper on cookie sheet and pour the cubed marinated tofu on the cookie sheet and spread evenly
Cook for 20-30 minutes. Check after 15 minutes.
